These standards govern how The Project Showcase produces and publishes content. They are not aspirational — they describe what we actually do and don't do.
Founder-connected projects are always disclosed
The Project Showcase was created by the same founder behind Duckd HQ, ShootingTalk, and Hikari Stays. These projects are featured on this site because the founder believes in them. This connection is disclosed prominently on the homepage, on every project profile page, and in the site footer. We do not present these projects as independently discovered or reviewed companies. We do not imply outside endorsement.
Paid placements will be labeled — currently none active
The Project Showcase does not currently accept paid placements. If paid placements are introduced in the future, they will be clearly labeled as such. Paid placement will never be presented as editorial coverage. See our Sponsorship Disclosure page for more detail.
Sponsorship does not guarantee favorable coverage
Any future sponsorship or commercial relationship with a project does not guarantee favorable editorial coverage, inclusion in the Dispatch, or any specific treatment. Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial relationships.
Factual corrections are accepted
If something we've published is factually wrong, we want to know. We accept corrections through our contact form. Verified corrections are applied to the relevant content and noted. See our Corrections Policy for the full process.
What we will never do
- Publish fake testimonials, invented statistics, or fabricated quotes
- Promise rankings, traffic, backlinks, press coverage, customers, or guaranteed exposure to any project
- Copy large blocks of text from official project websites
- Invent press coverage, publication logos, or media mentions
- Present founder-connected projects as independently reviewed or endorsed
- Mass-generate content without human editorial oversight
Original writing only
Every article published in the Dispatch is original writing. We do not republish press releases as editorial content. We do not copy articles from other sources. We flag claims that require verification rather than presenting unconfirmed information as fact.
